IMAGINEERING by Rinspeed presents two production-capable concept cars at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show.

The IMAGINEERING TITANIUM R was built based on the Audi A6 Avant. As the name reveals, the appearance of titanium plays the dominant role. All exterior chrome trim is replaced by titanium-colored elements. The 18-inch wheels are painted this color, as are the additional aerodynamic parts and the grille. In the interior gray leather, titanium-colored trim pieces, foot pedals, gearshift and emergency brake levers as well as color-coordinated floor mats and treadplates with the TITANIUM R logo create a homogenous integrated whole. The new PLAY BOX-X game console with LCD monitor offers extensive entertainment

Second exhibit is the IMAGINEERING Inspiration Saab 9-3 custom model. The IMAGINEERING by Rinspeed interpretation of the Swedish automobile features elegant chrome elements. Exterior eye-catchers are the sparkling 17-inch light-alloy wheels, door handles, rearview mirrors and rear spoiler, all with a chrome finish. Chrome also dominates the appearance of the interior starting with the foot pedals and ending with the loudspeaker covers. Woven leather on seats and door pockets are part of IMAGINEERING Inspiration's features as are cockpit trim pieces in granite design or the PLAY BOX-X with two LCD displays mounted to the front seat headrests.
