In 1986, we put the world’s first multifunctional steering wheel on the road - a simple idea that became a global standard. Back then, it was a revolution: buttons in the steering wheel that allowed drivers to control the radio or even the (then rare) car phone without taking their hands off the wheel. The result: Distraction reduced.

Forty years later, our Rinspeed Magic Steering Wheel has become an integral part of everyday mobility. More than one billion vehicles now feature our concept - a billion proofs that innovation, comfort, and safety can share the driver’s seat. We like to say we’re billionaires - not in money, but in moments of safer, smarter and more comfortable driving.
